Hello! A bit of explanation before the icons--I'm one of those really weird people who love to mix and match everything, including shows/movies/musicals... etc. so, here are Into The Woods lyrics on Alice In Wonderland icons. :)

and actually here's a RENT icon too.

Bases are by me, yes I still have them. If you'd like them, comment and I'd be glad to give them to you! just please credit me!

hello! so I have RENT icons. a LOT of RENT icons, actually. there's a girl who owns lyssicons and, if you click on her name, you'll see that she capped the entire effing movie. All of the bases I'm using were by her. IF THEY WEREN'T then they were by me. but I'm giving her credit anyways because there're over 2000 bases that she made and what the hell. okay? I"m going to be making a LOT more. I'm also going to start doing some other stuff besides RENT, I just want to get done with this project first. :) so: ICONS:

So I was kind of going crazy and listening to a bunch of stuff from online sites about Idina and I decided that I really needed to find pics and make icons!
Rules are actually quite simple:
1. comment please, if you take or if you just have advice! I'm really new at icon making so any advice would be great! if you like specific ones, please tell me!
2. do whatever you want with the textless ones!! have fun, go crazy. if you want to credit me for the base, (my username's in the filename so it makes it really easy to credit!) please do so with my blessing. if you use these as icons I need credit though. :-) don't edit the ones with text please...

I took my Running start test today and I passed everything! I am now...A COLLEGE STUDENT despite being only 15. Yeah, it pretty much rocks. *Sings to the tune of Barbie Girl* I'm a college girl--in a highschool wo-or-orld. I'm all spastic. It's fantasic!!

okay, for those of you who dont' know what running start is, whether you care or not: It's a program at the local college, (clark college to be precise), where you can take a test as a sophmore and, if you pass, you can do your junior year and senior year at clark college. You're still a highschool student, but you're taking college courses and getting college credit. In short, you're skipping your last two years of highschool and coming out of the program not only with a highschool diploma but also two years of college under your belt.

so:
the credits you get for your Junior and Senior Highschool years count as the credits for your Freshman and Sophmore years at any college in the united states (i'm not sure of out of country.). So. there ya go. I finish my sophmore year and I'm a college student! I made the switch to college student in under an hour. holy crap. so, this has nothing to do with icons. sorry! but you needed to know. I'll make more icon posts later this week. Loves to all!

(I had my muliere audition with Jolin et company today and am waiting for a callback e-mail/phonecall. I know I'll get one because It's Jolin and they asked me to audition, but...there's that .001 percent that I won't. which...would suck.)

OH DEAR HOLY GODS AND GODDESSES OF BROADWAY FOR THE LOVE OF MIKE.
RENT is set in NYC. I knew that. La Vie Boheme = long live bohemia. I knew that too. Bohemia = the old name for greenwitch villiage in NYC. Artsy farsty area, you know! all the oddballs and awesome people. so...yeah. RENT makes a hell of a lot more sense now.

I feel like I should be posting something. hey, I know! how about the rest of the story. or part of the rest of that chapter that I've written of the new story...anyways. here ya go.

hhmmm.....

"Take your pick!" said the bat, rolling its eyes. "People banging on the doors at all hours, attempting to cast search and destroy spells on your "collection", fire spells, nosy neighbors...oh and one sweet woman who brought you a casserole."
Aurelia looked up, eyebrows raised. "A casserole?" she asked.
"Yes. Of course, it was one of the poisonous variety."
"Oh, one of those," said Aurelia, nodding. "Must have been a relative."
"You're a Wanderer, remember? You were disowned." said the bat in a sweet tone.
"Anything else happen of interest?" asked Aurelia, glaring a the bat.
"Youchy, touchy..." it muttered, shifting it's position uncomfortably.
"Sorry? Didn't quite catch that."
"I said yes. A man in a cloak came last night and left you a message. It's on the mantle." the bat gestured with one wing.
"A man in a cloak, huh? Well that rules out exactly no one of the male variety that I know. Would you like to be more specific?"
The bat blinked in annoyance. "Black hair, red eyes, one head with all nessecary attatchments, two arms, two legs, a torso, gold tunic, red leather pants, size thirteen shoe, a gold crown and a tatoo of that little black thing you brought home on his right arm, would you like anything else or can I bring you the bill?" it said, very fast and very sarcastically.
"No, that's actually okay, thank oyu!" said Aurelia snapping her fingers and taking the pen and paper that appeared before her. "Black hair, a crown..." she muttered and began to write.
"Don't forget the two legs, those are important limbs," said the bat in a serious tone.
"Thank you," said Aurelia, looking pointedly from the bat to the hallway and back.
"All right, I'm going, but don't forget to read the note!" said the bat, and took off.
"Goodnight!" Aurelia called after it, but recieved no reply. Smiling slightly she went back to her puzzling, writing down everything that had happened to her while she was away.

so that's the end of chapter one, it's 1:22 am and i'm butt tired, have workout tomorrow morning along with school and five hours of dance, so I'll catch all you pickle-peelers later.

hem hem. tyvm. lol. sooo i'm so hungry it's not even funny. but I am watching tomb raider one, and having a jolly ol time. got back from rehearsal today and pointe. am now getting worshipped by two people in the cast because I'm on pointe. ummmmm what else. skipped school today because my father needed to go shopping to get out of the house because the one year anniversary of my sister's death is on feburary 16th. lovely. so now he's freaky deaky I'm the Youngest, I can't do Anything, I can't Walk anywhere Alone, I can't Stay for an Hour by Myself so I had to skip school today when I really can't do that because I have to double up tomorrow, what the shit I don't want to do that!!! mehmehmehmeh. okay. bored, my stomach hurts, I haven't had enough to eat, I'm bored, and I have a new story that I sarted. want a teaser? of course you do =D

She walked down the backally, through the mist and shadows, hood pulled down over her eyes. The cloak swept silently after her with every step as though erasing her existance from the earth. As she rounded the corner she paused in the shadows just outside of the ring of yellow light cast on the gorund by the street lanmp.
A man stepped into the light on the opposite side of the lamp, cloaked but not hooded. His face was unreadable, his hair black as his sharp eyes. "Aurelia. Finally."
The woman still didn't move, but instead seemed to blend with her surroundings. She could not be seen if you didn't know she was there, though you could see her emerald-green eyes glowing in the dark under her hood.
The man didn't seem to notice the woman's unblinking gaze, which was locked on his face. "You have it, I presume?" the man asked carelessly, fingering something in his pocket.
The green eyes seemed to catch on fire for a split second, then hardened. She nodded slowly, but made no move to enter into the light and join the man.
"Good. Where is it?"
The woman reached into her cloak and pulled out a small black object, holding it just outside of the circle of light.
"Dammit, Aurelia, you know perfectly well that I don't have those aflicted eyes of yours."
The woman smirked.
"And stop smirking, it's not becoming on a lady."
"Thank Mithros I'm not a lady then, eh, Damion?" the woman asked, still smirking. "It makes my job a hell of a lot easier." Her voice was low, intruiging, and seemed to laugh at the same time, though with you or at you you would never figure out. "My end of the bargain is complete. Uphold yours."
For the first time the man seemed uncomfortable. When he spoke his tone wasn't so velvety as before. "My end?" he snorted, trying to sound scornful but only managing ancy. "My end? You're three weeks late, Aurelia. There's no deal."
The woman stiffened. "Ran that by me again?" she said dangerously, eyes glittering once more.
"The deal is off." repeated the man, visibly sweating now, the light from the lamp reflecting off his forehead.
"Lovely." said the woman, making eye contacct with the man. "Then you won't be needing this." In one smooth move she pocketed the black object and began to turn away from the light, cloak swirling around her feet.
"Haven't you any loyalty," spat the man from behind her, after a few seconds of stunned silence.
She paused, smiling, and turned to look over her shoulder at the shinned agent. "Loyalty, Damion? Define loyalty for me."
"Devotion to king and country!" said the man, hands clenched into fists at his sides.
"I'm a Wanderer, Damion. Which king? WHICH country?"
"Pick one."
She raised her eyebrows. "I have," she replied lightly, fixing her hood and turning away again. "Myself. I govern myself, answer to no one, and get paid well for what I do, which is more than you can say." She started back up the ally, away from the pool of light.
"This is blasphemy!" shouted the man after her. "I--I'll--you leave me with no choice but to go to his majesty!"
"Please, go, with my blessing! And tell him, also, that he owes me three weeks overtime. If it hadn't been for that blasted dragon--" She left her sentance unfinished, instead sweeping down the ally into the night, unnoticed by all but the rats.

"Blasphemy! The pawn had the audacity to pull a stunt like that and then tell me I was being...blasphemous." Aurelia let the cloak drop to the floor and said a single strange syllable that crackled in the dark.
Light flared from the corners of the room, red, green, blue, and white, illuminatng a table and cair, a fireplace, and a coatstand that housed two identical midnight-colored cloaks and a large black bat that shifted in the sudden light.
Aurelia glanced at the cloak, which was still laying on the floor. "Well, go on!" she said and it rose to position itself on the stand so it completly covered the bat.
"You're late," said an accusing british accent.
"I know." said Aurelia, walking down the dark hallway to the kitchen. "I was unavoidably detained."
"Right." said the voice flatly.
Aurelia stuck her head back into the dark hallway, green eyes glowling innnocently in the blackness. "I was!" she said, mouth full of sandwich.
"Doing what?" demanded the voice.
"Battling the entire Lamborgian army, for one; convincing a seven-hundred and fifty-six year old dragon that it didn't really need the single most valuable item in its hoard, for two; escaping with my life and said item for three. You know, the usual." She ducked back into the kitchen.
"A dragon?" asked the voice offhandedly.
"Yes, and I'll appriciate no comments from you, thank you very much." said Aurelia, coming back into the glowing main room.
Her hair was such a dark red that when she moved her head in the light it shimered to black and back, and fell in soft curls to her shoulders. It did nothing to soften her appearance, however, which was made sharp by defined cheekbones, her eyes, and full red lips. She was wearing a simple fitted tunic, the same green as her eyes, with black pants and highheeled boots underneath. She looked good--and she knew it.
"And the deal?" the voice sounded wary.
"Let's just say that I've added a new trinket to my collection." Aurelia reached into the cloak on the stand and pulled out the small black object, holding it up. It glinted in the light.
The cloak she had just disturbed, rustled.
"Move! Blasted rap heap, get out of my way!" said the british voice and the cloak rose off the stand and moved to the left, revealing the bat, which flopped up to the ceiling and gave it a very dirty lok with its cobalt blue eyes.
The cloak settled innocently back onto the hook and the bat flew to hover in front of Aurelia, eyeing the black object speculatibly. After a few seconds it spoke, the british accent issuing from it. "What is it?"
"No idea." replied Aurelia, also staring at the object she held.
It was small and made of two parts, a round top and a larger bottom made to fit in the palm of a hand, both made of what looked like faceted obsidean, black and glimmering. It had symbols and spirals etched all aroujdn it, with a glittering blood-red droplet of jewel set in the exact center of the top piece.
"What does it do?" asked the bat, still hovering.
"Havn't the foggiest. Nothing, so far, and don't think I haven't tried."
"Of all the things I'm likely to be thinking at this precise moment, that's not one of them." replied the bat, flying to the ceiling and attatccching itself to a beam.
Aurelia just smiled. "Good." she said, and pocketed the black object once more. "How have things been since I left?"
THe bat gave a hollow laugh. "Eventful, even for us."
"Specifically which events?" asked Aurelia, snapping her fingers and setting into a red and black chair that appeared behind her.
"Take your pick!!" said the bat, rolling its eyes.

So that's all I have for now. seriously,folks, tell me what you think of it!! okay? okay. thank you.
I have dance, play practice tomorrow. workout, ballet, meeting with amy yay!, dance friday, and dance, blocking act something, Snoball w/thunder, spending the night at her house saturday, and anything goes dance rehearsal sunday. wheeeee....oh yeah, and I have to make up an entire day of school in there sometime, while still getting all of my work for this week done, as well as chores and thank you notes. frick.

Warning you: THIS IS A HELLA NEWS, BECAUSE I'VE BEEN A BUM AND HAVEN'T UPDATED. Kay? Kay.

Howdy folks! let's see, where was my last update? christmas? something like that. oh em gee, like, lastuh yeerah! that's like, so lastuh sennchuree! um. yeah. long time ago. christmas loot!! or at least top five things

1. RENT soundtrack thank you god and grandparents!
2. PURPLE HIPPO FLASHLIGHT HOLY FRICK THAT THING IS SO AWSOME AND WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTON IT GIGGLES TYVM!!!...heh.
3. cute sweater from my aunt, actually. normally I'm not like, "ooh cuteywootypie clothes!!!!! eee, skwee, etc, etc, blah, blah blah" but this one I can use for dance so it's actually prty hott. also, 3 is a tie, brown goucho pants from my 'rents! thank you mumsy and daddles!
4. something like 55 bucks from my pastor for Disneyland. erm, holy crap! thank you god's messenger!

so. that's awesome. and then Disneyland holy magic mouse ears!! (to the mousemobile, daffy! sorry, had to)OH MY GOD IT WAS SO FUN YOU HAVE TO FREAKING IDEA!!! no I'm serious, you don't. ok kat does. but only a little bit because she would rather design the costumes than act there, so you know!! Being backstage. at Disney. was probably one of the most awesome things I've ever done in my life. me and kat and thunder hung out one day, then Carla joined us, and then the next day it was just me and thunder who didn't have families and kat was hanging with her family, (she ditched them to go hang with chelly belly and nicole though, and she was a bit pissed we abandonded her but a) we appleogized and b) she got over it, so no harm done) and it totally just occured to me that she's reading this...don't hit me! okay good job heather. and then thunder kat and I hung out the last day too. it was freaking awesome. and we got lighting cups from Rainforest Cafe that light up when you push a button holy hill billy batman, how much cooler can you get? yeah, not a lot tyvm!

Snort. Holy Hill Billy Batman...where in the name of all things holy on Broadway do I get this stuff?? that was kind of disturbing.

so yeah. then we stayed with my aunt and uncle in LA and i'll give you a rundown of how that went.
Mornings: wake up, meet relatives who came over for *insert meal here*
Afternoons: hang out with relatives who came over for *insrt meal here* and/or watch TV and color in my coloring book because I'm hardcore like that.
Nights: Eat dinner (possibly with relatives who came over for *insert meal here*) watch football with uncle long enough to be polite but not go insane or, god forbid, actually start to understand the game, (hah, yeah right), go to room, watch TV and color because I'm hardcored like that.
Late Nights: ...still coloring and watching tv....
Really Late Nights: turn off light after praying that the next night we wouldn't watch football so i would be forced to watch America's Next Top Model to purge my soul...
Repeat.

brilliant, eh? two highlights: Cousin is one year older than me, actually a second cousin, name of DJ. when we were little we were so tight it was crazy, like you couldn't split us up. we would share crayons and coloring books, and yes I believe I took a bath or two with him. (we were one and two to three and four, shut up people) I also believe my psycho aunt has pictures...go figure. okay, so couple of years ago he was short, scrawny, and still like, hey wanna play tag. right? now: nearly 17. football player. but not a jock. (is that even humanly possible? apparently.) suddenly got...(am I allowed to say this about my cousin? I mean, for the love of erik, I took baths with this guy when we were little!) hot. lordy lordy how fine is he? and every single girl at his school knows it too, it was so funny to watch them flare up when they saw me talking with him at his game. they still think i'm dating him HAHA. but yeah, he got hot. and then #2 was seeing my little 12 year old cousin, (okay, 14 year old, so sue me, she acts four years younger than me), go goth, get invited to parties, and act pretty much stupid. woohoo! love emma. love her.

so after that drove home, (new years day. whose mensa-worthy idea was that? not mine, I wanted to fly home and spend new years partying with my friends. but no, my aunt wanted me there. THEY DIDN'T EVEN STAY UP UNTIL MIDNIGHT. sue me for wanting to pull a van ghoe and give my ear for a chance to be in NYC watching the ball drop!!!!!!!!!!) got home, was bored.
until....
DANCE STARTED AGAIN YAYNESS!!! yeah, you know all about that.

ANYTHING GOES STARTED
okay, anything goes is a broadway musical. you may remember me shouting my ass off about getting a part? yeah well, I got a part and i said that already and now rehearsals have been going for two weeks. let me give you a run down of the directors first, all of whom I love.
Director: Ron: So. Funny. not meaning to be, which is what's the funny part. but he wears a hearing aid, so he can't hear, so he like ignores you and then when you tell him something for the ninth time, shouting, he'll be like, "well yeah, here's what I said...*dadadadablahblahblahmamasgotthemagicofcloroxtoo*, right?" and then turn away and you're like....you did nothing to fix my problem and then the assistant director tells you how to fix it. L. O. L. love ron.
Assistant Director: no freaking idea what his name is but watching him work is like watching bad psychology gone worse...one kid showed up late the other night without his music, *way to go moron*, and this director goes, "Them usic I gave you last night you don't have tonight and you're late?" the kid nods. "okay, you know what? we're not going to start anymore until everyone is here and has their music, script, and a pencil so that the rest of the cast will understand and feel as violated as I feel right now." need I say more? I think not.
Music Director: April. Icy-Hot woman, do not fuck with her she will win, eat you, spit out your bones, grind them to make bread, eat that, and then call a director-family conferance with your family who are still in mourning for your fate and tell them, to their faces in a loud voice several times so they get it, that you deserved it and they should shut up and stop crying, besides, you probably got the bad attitude and tone-deafness from them anyways so their lucky she doesn't jump on their asses right then and there.
no, I'm not kidding you. it was our first rehearsal, first EVER, and after one, yes i will admit that it was sad and sorry but it was our first rehearsal in the name of mike!, attempt stopped playing in the middle of the song, looked at us and says, "Well, that sucked." ...Yep, That's April!
Costume Director: Pat. SWEETHEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay I was wearing one of my costumes, we were fitting it, and she expected it to be 20 times to big. it wasn't because I am endowed in my bust, (she calls them bazoongas, btw), and she goes, "Well dayum girl, we don't have that much to do!". love her.
Choreographer: Carla, hah you know all about her. she hasn't changed just because she's doing a play.
now some of my favorite people in it:
Cassie and Liz, I did Annie with them before and we are all broadway maniacs only they're super christain which I can handle because I love them to peices.
Jolyn, or the lady who's playing Reno. She's so funny, awesome, great voice, just a funny awesome person.
Kelly, or the girl who's playing Bonnie. Okay. I cannot say enough good things about her, she's one of the top three people under 5'5 who are sassy, sexy, vibrant, and sweeties beyond their size. oh my god. i'll post pictures on here, i'll take the digi next rehearsal and get some shots. she's the cutest thing in the universe!
Mark. oh my god Mark I love you. he's never done musical theatre before, (I know, i'm a theatre junky and spell it re instead of er, so sue me), he's a tenor, and i love him to death. he hasn't been broken in yet so he's still fresh and sweet and ready to try anything. poor thing won't know what hit him. heh...
okay that's about it for now. I'll get to know the rest of the cast later. Oh Alissa (uh-lee-suh) almost as sarcastic as April, watching them together is so funny. and Lucas is one of my partners for dance, even though he can't. he hasn't grown past the 8th grade immaturity stage that guys have. I look forward to watching him get eaten by April.

so rehearsals are going well they're normally something like four hours long but they're good! long, we open in feburary, have to be off book by the first of feburary, only i'm off book right now, pretty muchat least i'm off book with all the songs. i think. just have to learn the dancing now!
anyone know how to post songs on here? i'll post a couple for you to download from Anything Goes. Anything Goes and Heaven Hop, i think. Reno sings AG and Bonnie sings HH. I sing and dance in both of them. haha go me.

so, pointe: second pointe class ever today and it's so much fun! it actually doesn't hurt as much as everyone said, but getting up to Pointe and breaking in your shoes hurts like hell. no blisters nor bloody toes yet, *knock on wood* okay, who the hell is shelby? i mean I know who she is but why does she even think I care that she wants to talk to me? I stopped going to that church because of people like her. god. sorry, someone on AIM keeps bugging me and I'm not good at telling people to go procreate with themselves and stop bugging me.

Christmas Eve!!!

Merry Christmas everybody! well, almost.

same difference. In two and half days I'll be flying out to LA to Disneyland to go dance there and knock everyone's socks off. even though it's supposed to be eighty degrees and everyone will probably be wearing sandals and not socks because, really, sandals with socks? Not cool. oh I gotta call Amy tomorrow and say merry christmas and what's your favorite Disney character so I can get you the other half of your Christmas present! but not until tomorrow because duh it won't be christmas until then. oh I have to call katie too. and give haylee her present. hmm. and I woke up at noon. GO ME waste half the day. well it wasn't wasted, I think I was up until one thirty or two last night role-play-singing The Lion King Broadway soundtrack. so that was fun! I got to sing all my favorite parts and didn't have anybody going "No, I'm singing that!" Cough katherine cough. lol anytime we role play something, (Each take a part and act that part or read that part or sing that part), we end up both singing/whatever the same parts and then...not fighting but having a slight discussion about it lol. she usually gets to take the guys parts though, because, while neither of us are altos, she's a lower mezzo than I am. well, she's lower when I want to sing a higher part...shhh. she's probably totally reading this...high five heather! oh crap I have to give her hers and tribecca's christmas presents too! and give Carla's hers...oh well. I'll get it done. eventually. heh.

so I had a random thought last night and was meaning to post it but I had the thought at eleven thirty and decided that I wasn't going to sneak out to post it and risk getting grounded just in time for Christmas! So Random Thought For Yesterday: There are tons of deaf people in the world, I know, I have deaf friends. There are also tons of gay people in the world, again, I have tons of gay friends! So what I want to know is, why have I never met a deaf gay person? Just wondering... This is not meant to offend in any way, like I said, I had this thought at 11:30 last night, after an hour and half of ballet and showing pointe shoes to Maricarr and having her flip out over the shiny ribbons I bought even though she said NOTHING about what type to get. Um, DUH maricarr...try telling me next time, kay? kay. i even asked at the Leo whether they knew if Maricarr had a ribbon perferance and they're like...um...no? blegh. oh well.

so now what I'm doing is waiting for my parents to stop flipping out so I can announce that I need someone to drive me four places. This is not going to go over well. Wish me luck men and women, I'm going willingly to my Christmas death...

Guess who got Pointe shoes!

No, not Robert De Niro, good guess though! Me, sillies!!! I GOT POINTE SHOES TODAY! they're really really pale pink. like next to normal "pink" pointe shoes, they're white. carazy! And they're funky in the box, they aren't square, they're almost...tapered I guess is a word for them. They're Bloch Serenade and they're all mine.

*squee*....yay!!!!

So! What happened today? Rehearsal, Pointe shoe fitting, and shopping. I got a hot skirt! Rehearsal, you ask? For what?!...For Disneyland, obviously. because we were kind of *crappy* messy in some parts. Polar took about an hour to clean and I wasn't in it so Thunder and I talked and Nicole and I ran Happy Elf. It's amusing. so then tomorrow is the day before Christmas Eve, and then Christmas, and then my parents leave and we have rehearsal again, then I go to kat's house, and then we fly to LA and dance! ohemgee!!!1!!one!!! ...kidding. my skirt is pretty though and it was only ten dollars! it's pretty like berry colored velvet and has lace at the bottom and it's swishy!! *yay swishy things* yay shiny things too, my Pointe shoes are shiny! so are their ribbons. Shiny ribbons are good. I'm gonna go upload some icons that i made onto photobucket!

wet....weather....

The weather: is verily verily wet right now. Unfortunently it's also getting *teethgrit*...warmer. So there's no way it's going to snow which seriously sucks! My parents are watching You Can't Take It With You, you know, the one with Frank Capra? It's not bad, and we haven't seen it in a while. Watching it, I'm beginning to understand why. Nothing happens! Where's a recording of 42nd Street or Movin' Out when you need one, eh? Or any Broadway musical, really!! ARGH WHY DOESN'T ANYTHING INTERESTING HAPPEN AROUND HERE?! ...I have five people I want to hang out with but two of them are in ballet right now, one's in texas and one's in South Africa, and one has her parents up for Christmas all the way in from Florida to Portland and I'm smarter than calling her and asking her to chill with me because it's her first Christmas with her parents and her own house plus her sister, cat, and husband. SO! Here I sit, waiting for wednesday night when I have ballet and Thursday morning when we have dance reahearsal, cursing the wet weather and thinking about Christmas, Disneyland, New York City, dance, and snow!

today we went to some place in washugal or something and I bought ATOMIC FIREBALLS! love them. I have a huge big bag and I'm gonna stick it in my dance bag! yummy. and then we went to the mall and I bought glasses that just have glass in them, it amuses me and I'm gonna wear them a lot now because I'm random like that ya'll. And then we went to winco and I bought a milk chocolate orange for two bucks because I can promise you that there's someone I forgot to buy a present for and those things rock! So. I really have nothing to say, OH I remember why we dont' watch this movie often. I really do. The sound is crappy and it cuts out every minute or so, and it bugs me. It's also fuzzy in the background, (both in the picture and the sound). so yeah. JUST KISS HER ALREADY! okay sorry. That's one of my bad problem habits when I'm watching a movie...I manage to curb it for plays, but lord it's hard. I curb it because I know what it's like to be up there and then have people shout stupid things at you...so I don't shout, "JUST KISS HER ALREADY!" when I'm at a play. Also, I usually tend to be backstage at a bunch of the plays I go to, and so that would be even worse, because when you hear a noise like that from backstage and you're onstage it's doubly hard to keep the scene. SO.

Thought for today: Candycanes are yummy! so are atomic fireballs. but never. NEVER. put them together.

a monday without school!

This is a new experiance for me...well, okay, not really, but it's still a good experiance! Of course, the weather outside is frightfully wet. Everything is soaked. What I wouldn't give to be living in a place, *cough NYC cough*, that has at least clear weather and is freezing cold right now, with a promise of some snow that stays! Of course, I just want to be in NYC all the time anyways, so this isn't really that much of a change for me. And since it's so wet outside there's not much I can do outside because it's freezing cold too and I don't have a desire to freeze any part of my body off as I walk to Fred Myers or someplace where, more likely than not, nothing's going on. So here I sit, updating my new blog.

Nothing much going on today, I have ballet tonight for two and half hours...I'm still making up classes from the classes that were cancled because of Nutracker. But wait, did I cancel them? No, I didn't, but I'm the one who has like, a month to make them up because Maricarr canceled them. Whatever, who cares, oh well.

First Post!

Hello all you wonderful people who are reading my blog's first post!

It's a very exciting and moving day for all of us, I'm sure. Okay, fine, maybe just me. I have a LiveJournal, and I try to post on there, I really do, but I apparently have a life, not that you would know it from the fact that I've been on the computer for...actually I'm not going to tell you, it's rather embarressing! We can chalk up how long I've been on here to the fact that it's Sunday, I finished school for winter break on Thursday of last week, and promptly had three shows. I'm a beyond-all-help-not-that-I-need-nor-would-accept-it dance addict, which brings me to the title of my blog: Scintillating Broadway Moxie. (In case you couldn't tell, I also like to use long words instead of short words that would otherwise be rather platitudinous. I mean, boring.) In short, the translation of my blog title means Glittering Broadway Amibition, which I have in excess, and love every minute of. Having. Wait...well, despite the confusing sentance, (sorry, there's probably going to be many of them, I am who I am and I'm me!), : http://thesaurus.reference.com/search?r=2&q=moxie. I've got to learn how to re-name those links...it's bugging me!

Now, my profile is probably where I'm supposed to post details and randomness about my self, but I thought I might give you a little run-down here. I dance eight days a week, and yes, I do happen to know there are only seven days in a week. I have no idea how many classes I take, I've lost count, but I do know that I love every minute of it so much more than I could ever elucidate. (explain). I can also sing, and I guess I've got a pretty good voice, though I am by no means what you would call a "singer". I am, however, an actress and I'm currently involved with our local college here in their production of Anything Goes!! I play Purity, one of Reno Sweeny's "Angels". Look the musical up if you have no idea what I'm talking about and want to find out more! (What are you waiting for, another link? Come on, is it really that difficult to find http://www.google.com?) I'm also going on Pointe in Janurary, which should be sufficiently laborious, and I expect to enjoy every second of it!

When I'm not dancing or performing, (this would be between the hours of ten pm and seven am), I am either reading or writing. I'm a self-proclaimed bookworm, (I have as many if not more books as I do dance shoes, and that's saying something!), and I can think of no better way to spend time backstage at a performance than reading. Other than never being backstage at all, but we'll come to that in a minute. I've also been threatened by my best friends with slow and painful death if I stop writing, so apparently I'm a writer too. I don't really notice that I'm writing, it just comes naturally to me, I guess. I love it, and it's easy and fun, so. Yeah. I'm a writer too! I vary between being girly and tomboyish, every day is different. I love to make heads turn, and probably one of the best things I can hope to do is make someone think, which is part of the reason I am on stage 98% of my time! I love showing off, I have no qualms about the spotlight whatsoever, and having staring contests with adults who think they know more than I do is a blast. I suppose this can be taken for impertinence, but I prefer the phrase "self-confidance". See how much more attractive I've suddenly become? Instead of being a "stuck-up, impertinate, show-offy little camera hog know-it-all", I'm suddenly have a "good self image" and I'm a "bold, extroverted self-confidant performer." Now doesn't that sound so much more likeable? Oh, I'm also not "stubborn", I'm "tenacious."

I'm one of the dance captains of Senior Performance Group at Dance.Fusion NW, "my" studio, (I have no idea what else to call it. "The dance studio I go to" doesn't quite seem to cut it, because I practically live there.) I love it, it's so much fun! I also assitant teach the Junior Performance Group at dance.fusion nw. The senior performance group is actually going to perform at Disneyland in about a week and a half, (on the 28th to be exact. At twelve noon! Drop on by...), which will be absolutly exciting, and I'm already packing. I'm...weird like that. Not that that actually means I'll be done packing by the time we have to leave, (7:10 AM. Please...tell me who I can sue...), but I've started!

I suppose there's not all that much else I can say right now. The rest of it is classified, if I tell you you'd have to listen, and you don't want that. Besides, this is an abominably long post already, especially for a first post! So I'll leave something for next time.

I'm sweaty, I have a headache, I'm hungry, and I get off school in two days. Do not fuck with me!

The fact that school is almost over is awesome, but it's over in two days, which means two days longer that i have to do school. HoLy CrAp!!!! It's the, what, 13th...26-13=13 OHEMGEE IT'S THIRTEEN DAYS UNTIl WE LEAVE FOR DISNEYLAND!!!!!! well, 14, whatever..but it's insane! that's so not cool, and carla's beginning to get pissed 'cause our dances still aren't lean.

LOL my character in Anything Goes, Purity, (*english accent* Shut up laughing, you two!), is the sarcastic one! There's a point where all the Angels are introducing themselves and one is named Virtue, so it goes like this.

???: And I'm Virtue!
Me/Purity: *cough* The Easy Kind...

or there's another part where Chastitity goes, "I'm a sinner!" and Purity says, "She's telling US...!" lmao!
